A gambler's delight, the 13th can offer an easy birdie with two well played shots, or double bogey if you stray too far off line. When played as a three shot hole, this double dogleg has ample landing areas for the tee ball and layup. A good tee shot to the right side and a fairway wood to the left leave a perfect angle for a wedge shot to the green. Going for the green in two requires a long tee shot favoring the left side, and an approach that must carry the oak and steep faced bunker in front of the green. In either case, be sure to leave your approach below a hole cut in the rear of the green, or you may have a 3-putt in your future.
