The home hole offers a choice from the tee: play safely short of the right hand fairway bunker, leaving a middle iron into the green, or "let the big dog eat" over "Sissy Ridge" on the left side of the fairway. The latter requires 225 yards of carry, and will reward success with 20-30 yards of roll, leaving only a wedge or short iron into a bowl-shaped green. Deep bunkers left and short protect a putting surface which slopes left to right. A deft touch will be necessary to save par for anyone not finding the putting surface, but two good shots and a well-gauged putt can give you a closing birdie to savor in "The Dungeon," our popular 19th hole refuge.
