Visually intimidating from the tee with water and pines lining both sides of the fairway, the dogleg right 5th is the longest par 4 on the outward nine. The pumphouse in the distance is an excellent place to aim your drive. If you find the fairway, you will play a mid to long iron to the green; if your tee shot strays at all right or more than 5 steps left of the short grass, a chip out or layup are usually your best options. Beware the false front and false right rear of the green; either will send a seemingly well-played shot offline to the right, leaving a tricky up and down. Precision is the key to this difficult hole, and a four will be sure to bring a smile.
